Victoria “Vicky” Ann Voll, 62, of St. James, MO, passed at 1:41 am Thursday, April 16, 2020, in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Vicky was born on July 6, 1957, in Peoria, IL, to Clifford and Ellamae Jaquet.
She graduated from Woodruff High School in 1975 and received a clerical certificate from Midstate College in 1977. She married Allen Hamilton August 30, 1980, and resided in East Peoria, IL.
They had two sons, Jeremy (Jenna) Hamilton, of Washington, IL, and Trent (Lindsay) Hamilton, of East Peoria, IL. After the unexpected death of Allen in 1998, she later married John Voll on October 31, 2009.
She leaves behind her husband John Voll along with two sons, and three sisters, Pamela (David) Neal, Glenna Campbell, and Susan (Mark) Farraher. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Landon and Saige. Her parents and husband Allen Hamilton preceded her in death.
Her family and friends remember her as a hard worker, strong, stubborn, and the uncanny willingness to help others. She was always putting other people before herself, especially her children.
Vicky was employed by Illinois Bell/Ameritech/AT&T until she retired in 2013 after 39 years of service. Her hobbies included: playing slow pitch softball, fishing, bowling, watching her children’s sporting events, cross-stitching, thrift store shopping, and slot-o-mania.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A time to celebrate Vicky’s life will be Saturday, August 8, 2020, from 10:00 am until noon at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Memorials may be given to Camp Big Sky P.O. Box 58 Farmington, IL 61531
