Tyler Lee Murray of Washburn, IL was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and cousin. He passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the age of 32. Tyler was born in Pekin, IL at Pekin Memorial Hospital on November 11, 1989 to Kevin and Wendi (Armstrong) Murray.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Murray of Washburn; his loving daughter, Hadley Murray at home; mother, Wendi of Washburn; father, Kevin (Starana) of Manito, IL; siblings, Chris (Alisha Lyons) Armstrong of Washburn, Dylan Murray of Washington, Austin (Zoe Klaaren) Murray of Washington, Donavon Lindsey of Havana, IL, and Briana Servis of Metamora; and grandparents, Donald (Rita) Murray of Pekin and Kim Johnson of Havana. He was preceded in death by grandparents Gregory Armstrong, Mary Brandt, Clara Murray, and Rhett Johnson.

The family moved to Washburn, IL during his school years. Later in life he met his wife Renee Murray. On May 15, 2014 Hadley Murray was born and he became the most amazing father to his beautiful little girl. Nothing brought him more joy than being a father.

Tyler was a hard worker his entire life. He was in the Painters Union employed with Cook Painting. In his free time his hobbies included fishing, camping, hunting, music, and spending time with his family and friends. He coached his daughter’s softball and soccer teams. He was the person everyone looked up to. He was a father figure, a supporter, a guardian, and a protector to so many.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. A private family burial of ashes will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to an Education Fund for his daughter Hadley Murray, c/o Goodfield State Bank at any of the Eureka, Goodfield, Metamora, or Roanoke branches.
