Pamela G. (Rubel) Lotz, 65, of Metamora, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 25, 2022 in Red Lodge, Montana.
She was born on February 16, 1957, in Peoria, IL, to Charles R. and Velva F. (Greer) Rubel. She married Jamie A. Lotz on April 24, 1976 in Spring Bay, IL. He passed away on April 21, 2018.
Surviving are her daughter, Addison “Addi” Schluter of Metamora; son, Jeremiah (Abby) Lotz of Red Lodge, MT; granddaughters, Skylar Dean, Hannah and Aivah Lotz; mother, Velva Ballard of Bayview Gardens, IL; siblings, Rick Rubel, Chuck (Barb) Rubel, Deb Matheny, and Kim (Kenny) Thurston all of Bayview Gardens, Kenneth Rubel and Tim Rubel both of Spring Bay, IL, Jeff (Maxine) Rubel of Bartonville, IL, and Julie Rubel of East Peoria, IL; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Charles, fraternal and maternal grandparents, brother-in-law Ray Matheny, sister-in-law Cathy Rubel, two nephews, and three cousins.
Pam graduated from Metamora Township High School in 1975. She worked as an office administrator at Parsec Enterprises for over 30 years. Pam was a one-of-a-kind, wonderful, sweet, fun, and giving person. To know her was to love her; to have a conversation with her led to laughter and left you with a smile. Above all, she lived for her children and grandchildren. They were everything to her.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Reverend Steve Weber officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Sunday, December 4, 2022 and also one hour prior to her service on Monday, both at the funeral home. Burial of Ashes will be in Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
