Nicole "Nikki" E. Rankin

Nicole E. “Nikki” Rankin, 46, of Greenwood, IN, passed away at 1:30 pm on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN, due to complications of Crohn’s Disease. She was born on November 13, 1974, in Peoria, IL, to Victoria L. (Kennedy) Kennel.

Surviving are her mother, Vicki (Mike) Kennel of Metamora; step-sister, Lindsay (Audrey) Kennel of Secor, IL; grandfather, Gene Kennedy of Metamora; aunt, Val (Tom) Kennedy Ewan of Old Hickory, TN; and several nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Marilyn Kennedy and uncle Chris Kennedy.

Nikki graduated from Metamora Township High School and Greenville College. She worked in data control as an analyst at Johnson County Special Services. Her Facebook page will remain open for a few weeks and all are welcome to post memories. Thank you to all of Nikki’s family, friends, and her medical team in Indianapolis for their love and support as she battled this disease for the past 20+ years.

No services will be held.
