She was also involved in the Free Methodist Church for over 50 years where she served in a variety of leadership and servant roles She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, and for many years she volunteered for Methodist Hospice Care.
As a loving, involved grandmother, very rarely did she miss a ballgame, concert, musical, recital, or soccer game of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was their biggest fan. And she attended many graduations for preschool, elementary school, high school and college.
