Mrs. Mary Ann Falk Lindahl, 85, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. Mrs. Lindahl was born on December 20, 1926 in Page County, Iowa to the late Gotfred Falk and Anna Ericson Falk. During and after WWII, she worked for the Air Corp at the Pentagon. She later enrolled at Iowa State University and studied nutrition. She married Herbert "Herb"" Lindahl on April 16, 1950 in Iowa. Surviving are her husband and her children, Bruce (Bobbi) Lindahl of Danville, IL., Dr. Larry (Diana) Lindahl of Washington, IL., Nancy (Mickey) Ester of St. Louis, MO. and Craig (Sue) Lindahl of San Ramon, CA. She also had ten grandchildren, Tony, John, Amy, Karen, Michael, Elena, Aaron, allison, Jon and Mark and five great grandchildren Isa, Adam, Ben, Tucker and Norah. She was a past president of the PTA, a volunteer with Hospice and an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Danville, IL and was a founding and active member of Hope Lutheran Church in Vance, SC. Mrs. Lindahl was also a volunteer at the Summerville Medical Center in Summerville, SC. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington, IL., with Pastor John Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
