Mary Frances Halloran

Mary Frances Halloran, 69, of Peoria, IL passed away at 1:05 am Friday, December 10, 2021, at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria.

Mary was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester Minnesota on March 25, 1952, to Joe & Ione Halloran. She was raised on the family farm near Chatfield MN.

After graduating from Chosen Valley High School, she went on to St. Mary's School of Nursing in Rochester. She graduated with her LPN license in 1971. She worked as a nurse in Madison & Milwaukee before making her way to Peoria IL. It was in Peoria, where Mary planted roots and received her greatest blessing, her daughter Latesha Stephens. She worked for over 20 years at EPIC where she met many of her lifelong friends. She had one granddaughter DaiZiah Williams age 2 who she loved to spend time with! Their bond was beautiful to watch.

Also surviving are a sister: Teresa (Dean) Narveson and her children: Kathy (Mike) Bernard, Mike (Lynne) Narveson, Kelly (Doug) Nosbisch, & Michelle Chick; sister: Susie Pries and her children: Mark (Terry) Pries, Becky (Jim) Albrecht, Pam Pries, & Jill (Gene) Derfus. She was preceded in death by.... parents: Joseph & Ione (Johnson) Halloran, Brother: Larry Joe Halloran, brother-In-law: Frank Pries

Mary Frances will always be remembered for her independence, strength, caring nature, and sense of humor. She could always make you laugh. She also would always tell it how it was, if you wanted a honest opinion she was the one to ask. She was loved by many people and will always be remembered.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial service will be held 10:00 am  Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington.  Visitation will be one-hour prior to her service.
