Mary Louise Bayless

WASHINGTON...Mary Louise Bayless, 88, formerly of Washington, passed away at 8:30 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Mary was born on August 7, 1924 in Birmingham, Illinois to John and Inez (Stucker) Philllips. She married Jack R. Bayless in Washington on December 26, 1946. Jack died on December 23, 1987. Among those surviving is one son, Jack R. Bayless, Jr of Colorado and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Dr. Roger Phillips. Mary was a registered nurse who graduated from the OSF School of Nursing in 1945. She had worked for Washington Christian Village from 1972 till her retirement in 1996. At her request cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family if taking care of Mary?s wishes.
