Margaret Bernice Kohl

Margaret Bernice Kohl, 89, of East Peoria, IL passed away at 8:45 pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Snyder Village in Metamora, IL. She was born on October 13, 1926 in Spring Bay Township, Woodford County to Louis Joseph and Clara Bernice (Kutz) Kohl. Surviving are friends and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Clara Kohl. Prior to retirement Margaret had worked for 25 years at Jim Noonan Company in Peoria Heights and then Ronco Textile Products. Margaret was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, rural Metamora where she had been active in the Ladies Society. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Greg Jozefiak officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Metamora.
