Lillian Wiseman Obituary

Lillian Eileen Wiseman, 102, of Washington, formerly of Washburn, passed away at 11:52 pm, Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at Apostolic Christian Home-Roanoke.

She was born October 12, 1918, in Benson, IL, the daughter of Frederick E and Antje Uphoff Seifert.  She married Harry D. Wiseman on March 28, 1942, in St. Charles, MO.  He passed away on September 16, 2003.  Two sisters and one brother also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons Hal (Melody) Wiseman and Bob (Kim) Wiseman, both of Washington.  Also surviving are four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in Normal in elementary education.  She taught for the Lowpoint Washburn School District, retiring in 1974 after teaching for 26 years.  To all her former students – it is now OK to chew gum!

A private family graveside service will be held at Linn Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Washburn. Rev.
