Kenneth "Chip" E. Fauber

Kenneth E. "Chip" Fauber, 47, of East Peoria, IL, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 13, 1974, in Peoria, IL, to Kenneth E. and Sharlene M. (Rockhold) Fauber.

Surviving are his son, Dylan Fauber of Spring Bay; parents, Kenneth and Sharlene of Metamora; sister, Valerie (Jeff) Cooper of Lincoln, IL; long-time partner, Laura Oggero of East Peoria; multiple nieces and nephews; and Dylan's mother, Angie Fauber of West Des Moines, IA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tracy Baumann and brother-in-law, Nicholas Baumann.

Chip owned and operated Fauber's Hardwood Floors. He enjoyed barbecue smoke competitions with Laura, under the team name of Vintage Wieners. Chip took pride in creating his own custom made smokers. He loved animals, especially ones from the wild.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
