Kenneth Lynn Bowers

Kenneth Lynn Bowers, 69, of Metamora, IL, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

He was born on January 1, 1956, in Peoria, IL, to Kenneth Lee and Betty D. (Baker) Bowers. He married Pamela Janis Nuest on June 27, 1975 in Springfield, IL. She passed away on March 27, 2017. He was also preceded in death by his parents, grandson Seth Bowers, and three brothers, Rick Bowers, Gary Bowers, and Steve Bowers.

Surviving are his children, Nathan Bowers of East Peoria, IL and Michelle (Timothy) Roberts of Metamora, IL; five grandchildren, Miquela (Alec) Renn, Kayleigh (Cam Bush) Bowers, Scott Bowers, Katherin Bowers, and Navada Roberts; and brother, Terry (Donna) Bowers of Pekin, IL.

Kenney enjoyed playing chess and teaching his grandchildren how to play, reading, mushroom hunting, and fishing. He was a big gamer who loved his video games. He also loved his animals, spoiling his dogs with lots of treats. He loved being a homebody despite his wife taking him all over. Kenney's favorite thing of all was being with his wife. He was a loving son, father, brother, and grandfather.
