Kathy P. (Morgan) Raithel

     Kathy P. Raithel, 66, of East Peoria, passed away on April 18, 2022, surrounded by her family.

     Kathy was born on August 27, 1955, in Peoria, the daughter of Donna and Ernest Hatten. She married Steven Raithel on October 26, 1991, in East Peoria.

     She is survived by her mother of East Peoria; her husband of East Peoria; children, John (Michelle) Hunt of Chillicothe, Jeanna (Brett Huntley) McMenimen and Jennifer (Kris) Bartley, both of East Peoria; brothers, Don Morgan of Spring, TX and Rick (Sandy) Morgan of East Peoria; grandchildren, Leah, Ethan, Leigha, Logan, Brody, Kayla, Kennedy, Khloe, Brynn, Louden and Kaleb; and her beloved dogs, Tia and Frosty.

     Kathy loved being with her family and her dogs at home or at the campground. Anything that involved being with her family, especially, her grandkids, was important to her. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She would do anything for them. She collected fairies, angels and Willow Tree figurines and was a huge fan of the color pink.

     Her family was most proud of her for the way she loved her husband, children and grandchildren and how hard she fought for anything she was passionate about. They described her as beautiful, loving, strong and caring.

     Funeral services will be private. Interment will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
