Judith Joy "Judy" Bernitt, 84, of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 11:50 pm.

She was born on February 27, 1940, in Kewanee, IL, to George and Helen (Trent) Craig. She married her loving husband, Thomas John Bernitt, on June 13, 1959, in Kewanee, IL. He passed away on November 18, 2007.

She is survived by her loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Judy had worked in the Admissions Office at Illinois Central College. She was a member of Willow Hill United Methodist Church in East Peoria, IL.

According to her wishes, no services will be held and cremation rights have been accorded.
