Judith E. Ioerger

Judith E. Ioerger, 74, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 1:46 am on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. She was born on December 6, 1946, in Peoria, IL, to Bert and Alberta (Netting) Allison. She married Leland S. Ioerger on February 6, 1970, in Spring Bay, IL. He passed away on September 3, 2004.

Surviving are her children, Leland (Christy) Ioerger, Jr. of Roanoke, Robert (Dana) Irwin of Spring Bay, William “Bill” (Teresa) Ioerger of Burlington, IA, and Deanna (Eric) Zimmerman of Metamora; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren with one great-granddaughter on the way; and siblings, Ann (Jim) Reed of Washington, IL and Terry (Laurie) Bobblit of Pekin, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Taylor Rudd, great-grandson Tucker Upton, and brothers Donnie and Bert.

Judy was a member of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in rural Metamora. She was a retired bus driver for Metamora Grade School District #1. She loved playing slots, enjoyed cooking, and especially loved spending time with her family, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Greg Jozeviak officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until time of mass on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary of Lourdes Cemetery in Metamora. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association Central Illinois Chapter, 614 West Glen Avenue, Peoria, IL 61614 or St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church, 424 Lourdes Church Road, Metamora, IL 61548.
