Joyce M. (Welsh) Miller 70

Surviving are her children Rikki (Bill) Gray, Tammy Rayner both of Germantown Hills, Richard E. (Pam) Welsh II of Peoria, Jeffery Welsh of Low Point, Jeremy (Wendy) Welsh, Tyler (Kandace) Welsh both of Peoria, and Jay (Heather) Miller of Metamora. Daughter in law Ellen Keplinger of Peoria Heights, 24 grandchildren and 21 great grand children. Joyce is also survived one brother Albert (Marty) Bishop of Spring Bay, and one sister Monica Cole of Mt. Home Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Cherie Gilson, one son Jamie Welsh, and one sister Sharon Barnewolt. Joyce was of the Christian Faith and a Hostess at Myers Homestead in Metamora for many years retiring in 2001. She had a great love for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed boating, entertaining during the holidays, and cooking. Joyce was a very generous person, and animal lover in that she leaves behind her cat Gizmo. Services will be at 2:00pm Thursday May 20, 2010 at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Reverend Bill White officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until 8pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home in Germantown Hills. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
