Jeffrey C. Kamp, Sr.

Jeffrey C. Kamp, Sr., 79, of Saint Cloud, FL, formerly of Spring Bay, IL, passed away at 2:04 pm on Friday, July 21, 2023, at his residence.

He was born on September 30, 1943, in Peoria, IL, to Walter and Alma (Baugh) Kamp.

Surviving are his children, Jody (John) White and Jeffrey Kamp, Jr. both of Germantown Hills, IL, Jerrit Kamp of Metamora, IL, and Jason Kamp of Spring Bay, IL; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Joyce) Kamp of Florida, Joe (Mary) Kamp of East Peoria, IL, and Janet (Bernie) Sutter of Florida; and his companion, Charlotte White of Saint Cloud, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandsons Michael Krohn and J.D. Kamp, daughter-in-law Michelle Kamp, brother James Kamp, and sister Judy Kamp.

Jeffrey was an engineer for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 38 years. He was the Mayor of Spring Bay for many years and was a member of the Jaycees. He volunteered with the American Legion Post 10 and the AmVets, both in Saint Cloud. He enjoyed fishing and was a loving father and grandfather.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of his service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay.
