James A. Schupp

James A. Schupp age 70 of Metamora, Illinois passed at 2:00am Friday April 19, 2013 at his residence in Metamora. Born Oct. 3, 1942 in Eureka, Illinois to Lloyd and Doris (Adams) Schupp, he married Linda A. Morarity on April 4, 1964 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora and she survives. Surviving are his children, Duane (Sandra) Schupp of Munster, Indiana, Theresa (Mike) Nordbusch of Strongsville, Ohio, Angela (Mike) Ealey and Carolyn (Erik) Hackett both of Metamora. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and one sister Jane (Eldon) Zobrist of Metamora. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim worked as a Quality Control Technician for LR Nelson in Peoria for over 30 years retiring in 2005. He enjoyed fishing and raising and racing pigeons. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am Monday April 22, 2013 with Father Neri Greskoviak officiaiting. Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm until 6pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery in Metamora.
