Harold Mabis Obituary

Harold E. Mabis, 89, of Peoria, IL passed away at 5:10 am on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Reflections Memory Care in Washington, IL. He was born on June 15, 1931 in Kirksville, MO to Audrey S. and Lennie E. (Tate) Mabis.

He is survived by his sister, Lois Bryan of Metamora; brother, Bliss (Jean) Mabis of Bartonville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Audrey S. Mabis, Jr. and Allen W. Mabis.

Harold was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was an inspector for Caterpillar Tractor Company.

A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria with Rev. Chaplain Trevor Bartolomucci officiating with military rites accorded.
