Gertrude M. Klein

Gertrude M. Klein, age 95, of Pekin passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 5:38 pm at Hallmark House, Pekin. She was born on July 23, 1919 in Groveland Township to Herman and Minnie (Pfiefer) Geier. She married Cletus C. Klein on October 24, 1945 in East Peoria. He died on October 31, 1984. Surviving are her children Jack T. (Angela) Klein of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Richard (Terry Weiss) Klein of Manito; two granddaughters Michelle (Charles) Linglet of Estero, FL and Nikki Klein of Manito; two great-grandchildren Christian and Vince A. Linglet; and sister Ida DuFour of Ardmore, OK. She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and daughter-in-law, Nancy Klein. Gertrude was a member of St. Monica?s Catholic Church.
