George D. Koehl II 44, of Washington, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Washington.
George was born on December 14, 1973 in Peoria the son of David and Alice Hohulin Koehl. He married Tara L. Fox on June 20, 2003 in Dennisville, NJ.
Surviving are his wife, their two children John D. Koehl (13) and Veronica Alexis Koehl (4) both at home. Also surviving are his father of Washington, one brother Derek (Christina) Koehl of Huntsville, AL and Mindy (Phil) Armour of Kilgore, TX. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him. His mother preceded him in death in 2016.
He worked for Rumbold and Rumbold Electric, Inc. in Morton. George was a great father, loving husband, and had a big heart for the Lord and our church family and will be missed by all that knew him.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A celebration of life service will be 11:00am, Saturday, November 10, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Washington. Pastor Joshua Monda will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00am until 10:45am Saturday also at the church. Memorials in his name may be given to First Baptist Church of Washington.
