Frances E. Schofield

Frances E. "Frannie" Schofield, 70, of Peoria passed away at 10:18 am on Monday, August 31, 2015 at UnityPoint Methodist Peoria. She was born on June 24, 1945 in Peoria to Vernon H. and Barbara LaVerne (Wigginton) Reinholtz. She married Richard C. "Dick" Schofield on March 6, 1965 in Creve Coeur, IL. He died on October 17, 2010. Surviving are children David Schofield of Peoria and Julie Schofield of Elmwood, IL; three grandchildren Lindsay Manley and Austen Manley both of Peoria and Joshua Manley of Galesburg; one great-grandson Abel James; one great-granddaughter on the way; two dogs Nala and Eldora; and granddog Vedder. She was preceded in death by her parents and son James Schofield. Frannie enjoyed sewing, crafts, dirt track racing, gardening and working in the yard. She also loved to shop. She was a loving grandmother. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Tim Cavallo officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria.
