Erin R. Dickerson

Erin R. Dickerson, 38, of Washington, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her residence. On December 31, 1982, she was born in Peoria, the daughter of David and Judith Barrick Aeschlimann.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Surviving are her parents of Delavan, IL, her four children Adrianna Strasser, Georgia Dickerson, Kelsey Strasser, and Jackson Strasser, all at home. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Erin was an LPN and worked as an agency nurse in Illinois and had earlier worked as a Hospice nurse in Phoenix, AZ.

Erin was a lover of all things outdoors; she was an animal lover big and small and enjoyed everything outdoors: sitting by the pond, fishing, and campfires. She had a passion for social justice issues. Erin loved being a mom; she was fun-loving and had a knack for family impromptu dance parties at their home. Her generous spirit and a beautiful smile touched all who met her.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and private family services will be held.  Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, an account has been established at First Farmers Bank Branch of Pontiac to benefit her children and can be sent to First Farmers Bank PO Box 229, Delavan, IL 61734.
