Obituary

Earl R. Lenover, 72, of Washington, passed away at 10:36 pm on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Carle Health Methodist in Peoria.

He was born on September 22, 1950, in Pekin, the son of Clarence Janie Depagh Lenover.

Surviving are his four children, Michelle Lenover-Williams of Bloomington, IL; Shane Hendrickson, Scooter Lenover, and Amanda Lenover, all of Eureka, IL.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two brothers Cliff Lenover of Washington, IL, and Wayne (Cathy) Lenover of Eureka. His parents and two grandsons, Adam Ellison and Lucas Hendrickson, preceded him in death.

He was an honorably discharged U.S. Navy and U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for Pontiac Prison for over 20 years retiring in 2002.

A visitation at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington will be on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Cremation will follow his service. A celebration of life will be at the VFW Post 9016 in Washington beginning at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 5, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Washington VFW Post Post 9016. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements, and notes of condolences may be sent using www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
