Donna K. (Rentsch) Barrett

Donna K. Barrett, 82, of Washington, IL, formerly of Metamora, IL, passed away at 8:12 am on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Carle Health-Methodist Hospital in Peoria, IL.

She was born on August 27, 1941, in Washington, IL, to Walter H. and Ella E. (Mundinger) Rentsch. She married Larry G. Barrett, Sr. on June 23, 1961 in Norway, IL. He passed away on January 30, 2021.

Surviving are her children, Larry G. (Pam) Barrett, Jr. of Peoria Heights, IL and Deborah (Jerry) Weiss of Princeton, IL; grandchildren, Brandy (Luis Garcia) Weiss and Derrick (Nichole) Weiss; step-grandchildren, Chantel (Josh) Burch and Joshua Haller; great-grandchildren; Noah Weiss and Kaelyn Weiss; and step-great-granddaughter, Bella Burch. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty Hawkins.

Donna retired from Peoria Flag & Decorating. She was a member of Washington Christian Church in Washington. Donna enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family, including her nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Reverend Kevin Dell officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until service time, also on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
