Diana L. Lemon, 78, of Washington, IL, formerly of Deer Creek, IL, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

She was born on December 29, 1944, in Lawrence, KS, the daughter of Tilman and Edna M. Bratten Dennis. She married Eugene Bube, and she later married Lyman L. Lemon, who passed away on August 24, 1993. Her parents and one sister preceded her in death.

Surviving are five children: Tim Bube, Tammy Dougherty, Tom (Tammi) Bube, Trevor (Valerie) Bube, and Tracy "Lee" Bube. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren: along with one brother Jim (Lee) Dennis. 

Diana was a dedicated employee at Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Morton, where she worked for several years. Diana was not only known for her professional achievements but also for her interests. She had a deep passion for sewing, stitching, and crafts, which she enthusiastically pursued. Her creations were a testament to her artistic flair and meticulous attention to detail.

Diana was a woman of many virtues, but her loving nature, kindness, and generosity stood out the most. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and spread joy wherever she went. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her. Diana will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of many.

While there will be no public services, Diane's family will privately celebrate her life. Her remains will be placed in Deer Creek Mt. Zion Cemetery in Deer Creek, IL.
