Dean J. McCullough

Dean J. McCullough, 62, of Metamora, IL passed away at 10:45 am on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Unity Point Health-Methodist in Peoria, IL. He was born on September 12, 1957 in Peoria, IL to Frederick A. and Mary P. (Rohman) McCullough.

Surviving are Dean’s significant other, Rose Byram, whom they made a home together; siblings Dan (Michele) McCullough of Roanoke, IL, Dennis (Kathy) McCullough of Metamora, Debra Hurley of Parsons, TN, Doug McCullough of Washburn, IL, Dixie (Jim) Kaufman of Eureka, IL, and Daryl (Karen) McCullough of Metamora; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dean was self-employed in home improvement. He was an avid sports fan and NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhart, Sr. and Dale Earnhart, Jr. Dean enjoyed playing pool and was in many pool leagues. He enjoyed landscaping and doing home improvement jobs for many people. He loved history, especially the Civil War.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of Ashes will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Metamora at a later date.
