WASHINGTON?Eunice Daveyne Pugh, 88, of Washington, passed away at 3:50 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2015 at UnityPoint Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on April 26, 1926 in Abbyville, Kansas to David and Gladys (Deck) Ehling. In 1949 she married Raymond Wiese, he died in 1973. Daveyne later married Lewis Pugh in 1984 and he passed away in 1988. Among those surviving is one son, Frank (Robbie) Wiese of Washington; two daughters, Patty (Gary) McMahon of Knoxville, TN and Raylene (Richard) Wiersbe of Normal; two brothers, Gordon (Carol) Ehling of Abbyville and Dewey (Lauretta) Ehling of Port Angeles, WA; one brother-in-law, Donald Ulmer of California; six grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. Daveyne was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Vickie Rae Wiese, three sisters and one brother. Daveyne had worked as a hairdresser in the Washington area for 32 years and later for Caterpillar. In her spare time she loved to quilt, crochet and listen to audio books. However nothing was better than a visit with friends and family for Daveyne. She was a member of Washington Christian Church for 35 years and had been a youth sponsor during that time. In later years she attended Bethany Community Church with family. A memorial service to celebrate Daveyne?s life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Washington Christian Church with Pastor Kent Kloter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded and Mason-White Funeral Home is assisting the family in arrangements. Burial of cremains will be in Glendale Cemetery next to Raymond. Memorials may be directed to either Bethany Community Church Building Fund or International Teams Fund.
