Dale Ball

Dale W. Ball, 85, of Washington, formerly of Morton passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020,  at Washington Senior Living in Washington, IL. 

He was born March 11, 1934 in Pekin, IL to Charles & Edna Stringer Ball.  He is survived by his sons, Mark A. Ball, John D. Ball & sister Sandy Fox. Also surviving are his  grandchildren, Travis, Trent, Cortney, KD, Jeffrey, Connor, Tyler along with five great grandchildren. His parents, his wife Wanda, one son Michael, one brother Robert and one sister Susie Leiber preceded him in death. 

Dale served in the United States Airforce before being honorably discharged. He was a graduate of Bradley University and later owned and operated Peoria Account Services for over 20 years. He was also a Realtor for John Hoehn Realty prior to his retirement.  Dale was a member of First Baptist Church in Pekin and Groveland Missionary Church in Groveland.  His hobbies were many including fishing, hunting, boating and motorcycle riding and he enjoyed the Spoon River Scenic drive each year with his family. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service for Dale will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Groveland Missionary Church, 5043 Queenwood Avenue in Groveland.
