Bonnie Jean Olomon, 78, of Roanoke, IL, passed away at 6:25 am on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her residence.
She was born on May 9, 1944, in Brownstown, IL, to Hollie and Alma Marie (Arnie) Frailey. She married the love of her life, Ronald J. “Ronnie” Olomon on May 15, 1960 in Pekin, IL. He passed away on June 18, 2021.
Surviving are their five daughters, Sheila (Mick) Boles of Washington, IL, Brenda (Brian) Johnson of Twin Lakes, WI, Wendy (the late Bruce) Falk and Lori Sams both of Eureka, IL, and Anita (Ed) Cole of Metamora, IL; nine grandchildren, Cody, Katelyn, Christina, Megan, Matthew, Christian, Jesse, Trent, and Kyle; three step-grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charlie Frailey and Ray Frailey; and two sisters, Ruth Mudd and Donna Ash. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and four brothers.
Bonnie’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a dedicated wife and mother. She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, traveling, and most of all, playing with her grandchildren. Bonnie was the best cook and had the most beautiful flowers in town.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Pastor Bob DeBolt officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Stewart Harmony Cemetery in Metamora.
