Wilma K. Adams

Wilma K. Adams, 84, of Metamora, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 5:32 am at Unity Point Methodist. She was born on February 16, 1930 in Metamora to William J. and Anna M. (Waldschmidt) Scheirer. She married Norbert J. Adams on June 5, 1954 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Metamora. He survives. Also surviving are children, Stanley (April) Adams of Metamora and Janet Adams of Washington; seven grandchildren, Danny (Sarah), Nathan, Johnny, Michael, Justin, Ashley and Avery; siblings, Theresa (Larry) Miller of Washington, William Scheirer and Milton (Bernice) Scheirer, all of Metamora. She was preceded in death by her parents, son David Adams, granddaughter Eileen Adams, two brothers and four sisters. Wilma was a life-long member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Metamora and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Norbert and Wilma had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Mary?s Catholic Church, Metamora with Father Ron Dodd officiating. The recitation of the rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 4:30 pm with visitation to follow from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Metamora. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary?s Catholic Church. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com
