William "Scott" Jones, 45, of Metamora, IL passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 in Ashtabula, Ohio. He was born on June 16, 1972 in Peoria, IL to Dale L. and Jacqueline L. (Metcalf) Jones.

Surviving are his mother Jacqueline Jones of Metamora; daughter Cara Ogle of Tremont; his loving partner Amy Shannon of Metamora and his children in his heart Colten, Azlynn, and Jadelyn Shannon; nieces Sabrina and Olivia; several aunts and uncles; and many, many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Dale Jones and brother Brad Jones.

Scott was a self-employed tree trimmer. He loved watching football and baseball. One of his favorite things to do was to go to flea markets and auctions. He was known for his humor, generosity, and his love for his family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel in Metamora with Reverends Lloyd Brock and Josh Parker officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
