William Joseph Hansen, 88, of Washington passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019.

He was born April 30, 1930 in Metamora, IL the son of Frank and Ellen Rhode Hansen.  He married Emeline Seckler on April 28, 1951 in Metamora. She preceded him in death on March 13, 2008 His parents, two brothers and one sister also preceded him in death.

Surviving are four daughters Vicki (Mike) Kerker, Michelle (Randy) Parr both of Metamora, Deborah (Dale) Scheirer of Toluca and Janlee (Tim) Whiteside of Washington.  Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

He was a Korean War Veteran serving from 1951 until his honorable discharge in 1953.  He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 30 years.
