Willard D. Winkler 72

Surviving are his children Scott (Judy) Winkler of Metamora, Jim Winkler of Houston Texas, Tom Winkler and Laura (Robert) Bermes both of Metamora. Also surviving are his grandchildren Andrea and Maria Winkler, Kristen (Kyle) Burton, Matthew and Jennifer Winkler, Amanda and Alex Winkler, and Michael and Meaghan Prather, and great grandchildren Kyson and Kallie Burton. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Donald Lee Winkler. Willard was a graduate of Metamora Township Highschool, and was a farmer his whole life. He served on the School Board at Metamora Grade School for 33 years. Former Trustee for Partridge Township, and former member of Woodford County Farm Bureau. Willard was a life long member of Spring Bay United Methodist Church. Services will be at 11:00am Wednesday June 2, 2010 at the Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Reverends Dr. Joe Richard and Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday June 1, 2010 from 5pm until 8pm at the funeral home in Metamora and also one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Metamora Grade School Foundation and RiversEdge United Methodist ChurchA
