WASHINGTON... Wanda L. Tauber, 84, of Washington, passed away at 10:45 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at her home. Wanda was born on October 24, 1930 in Koshkonong, Missouri to John and Lorene (Dills) Cline. Among those surviving are two daughters, Dana (Mike) Hunsperger of Murphysboro and Kathy Wagner of Peoria; two brothers, John (Ruth) Cline of Koshkonong and Lonnie (Toni) Cline of Washington; grandson, Daniel (Katy) Hunsperger; two great grandchildren, Taylor and Jacoby and many loving nieces and nephews. Wanda had worked for Caterpillar as a software analyst in East Peoria for 40 years prior to her retirement in 1993. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church in Peoria and the Washington Fine Arts Society. Wanda enjoyed painting, working in her flower beds at home and doing needlework. She also had volunteered at the Washington District Library until just the last few years. A service to celebrate Wanda's life will be held at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 11 a.m with Rev. Dr. Stephen McKinney-Whitaker officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.
