Vonda Lee Schmidt 84

Surviving are two daughters; Becky (Jim) Dailey of Germantown Hills, and Karla (Calvin Youmans) Schmidt of Peoria Heights; five grandchildren Robert (Kathy) Dailey, Renee (Tom) Carrigan, Shay (Ben) Clark, and Jacob and Ashley Backes; six great grandchildren Morgan, Jenna, and Kaitlyn Dailey; Lilly and Averie Clark and Jaxson Backes. Also surviving are two brothers Jack (Marilyn) Umdenstock of Peoria, and Ronny (Diane) Umdenstock of E. Peoria. Vonda was preceded in death by one son Dennis Schmidt and one brother Terry Umdenstock. Vonda was a homemaker and was a volunteer for Methodist Medical Center for 20 years. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria. A Memorial visitation will be 5pm until 7pm Monday Jan. 31, 2011 at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family service will held Tuesday at the funeral home with burial of ashes to follow at St. JosephA
