Virginia Ginny L. Huser

Virginia L. "Ginny" Huser, age 75, of Metamora, IL passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 4:50 pm at her home. She was born on May 21, 1939 in Peoria, IL to Castner "Bud" and Dorothy (Reynolds) Schneider. She married Kenneth C. Huser on October 11, 1957 in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are children Doug Huser and Scott (Janet) Huser, both of Metamora, Greg (Susan) Huser of Sunnyland, Tammy (Scott) Blanchard of LowPoint, Lori Huser of Cazenovia and Eric (Amanda) Huser of Metamora; eleven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and siblings Patricia (Robert) Grob of Peoria, Marvin (Lois) Schneider of Metamora, and Linda (Ric) Keysor of Germantown Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ginny was a pre-school teacher for 18 years working for Metamora Community Preschool. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Rod Schertz officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to New Hope Church.
