Virginia C. Ginny Mccoy

WASHINGTON?Virginia C. "Ginny" Jackson, 92, of Washington, formerly of Peoria, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Washington Christian Village. She was born on January 20, 1922 in Hanna City, Il ot Ward and Mildred Moore Cruise. Ginny married Charles Clifton "Giggs" McCoy, he was killed in 1944 in WWII. She later married Charles F. Jackson in 1946. Ginny is survived by her sons, Dean (Kathy) McCoy, Charles (Cheryl) Jackson, Robert (Joann) Jackson, Richard (Jennifer) Jackson, her daughter, Kim Kinder, ten grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; three brothers, Clifton (Laura Belle), Gordon and Bill Cruise and a daughter-in-law, Ginny McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, one son, Dale McCoy, one daughter, Sue McCoy Redfield, 2 grandchildren, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Ginny was a homemaker and caretaker. She loved cooking, baking, family dinners and was best known for her candy making. She will be missed by all. The family will have a memorial dinner at a later date. Mason-White Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials in her behalf may be directed to Children?s Hospital of Illinois or St. Jude.
