Virginia Lee Denham, 78, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 10:05 pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Snyder Village Health Center in Metamora.

She was born on May 15, 1945, in LaHarpe, IL, to Charles W. and Iva L. (Icenogle) Gilmore. She married Kenneth R. Denham on March 27, 1971 in Bartonville, IL. He passed away on September 28, 2012.

Surviving are her four children, Angie (Greg) Morrison of Bloomington, IL, Tiffany (Jesse) Ward and Kristen (Jared) Ward both of Metamora, and Anthony (Annie) Denham of Lowpoint, IL; sixteen grandchildren, Rachel, Joel, Jackie, Heather, Evelyn, Gretchen, Noah, Logan, Madelyn, Bayley, Oliver, Penelope, Jude, Cloe, Baeli, and Wesley; five great-grandchildren, Delilah, Austin, Adriana, Seth, and Caleb; brother, Charles Gilmore of Creve Coeur, IL; and two sisters, Shirley Bremer of Marquette Heights and Sharon Workman of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Mathew Morrison, granddaughter Natalie Morrison, and two brothers-in-law Thomas Bremer and Charles Workman.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time, also on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery in Eureka, IL.
