Virginia M. Alig age 84 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 5:45am Friday August 20, 2010 at Snyder Village in Metamora. She was born March 26, 1926 in Peoria, Illinois to James and Ruth (Michael) Eaton. She married Colman W. Alig June 20, 1946 in Peoria. He passed away April 27, 2004. Surviving are her children; Mary (Tony) Snyder, Stephen (Mary) Alig, Ronald (Jan) Alig, and William (Julie) Alig all of Metamora. Eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother Francis Eaton of Peoria Heights. She was preceded in death by one son Carl Alig, one brother and two sisters. Virginia was a homemaker and a member of St. MaryA
