Torrie D. Hoffmann Reynolds

WASHINGTON...Torrie D. Hoffmann Reynolds, 34, passed away at 4:50 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2011 at her home. Torrie was born on September 13, 1977 in Peoria to Larry and Dianna "Di" Gedge Hoffmann. She married Curt Reynolds in Washington on October 13, 2001. Curt survives. Also surviving are her parents of Big Lake, Minnesota; her two children, Baylee and Sawyer Reynolds, both at home; two brothers, Rick (Susan) Hoffmann of Washington and Brandon Hoffmann of Big Lake and many loving nieces and nephews. Torrie had been a clerical worker for Martin Financial in Washington and also was an EMT/Firefighter with the Washington Fire Department. She had attended Illinois Central College, where she met her husband, Curt. Torrie was a very loving wife, mother, daughter and sister and she loved her family deeply. She had touched the lives of many both in her personal life and that as a firefighter. Torrie was a member of St. Mark?s Lutheran Church in Washington. Funeral services for Torrie will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25 at St. Mark?s Lutheran Church with Pastor John Bates officiating. Visitation for Torrie will be at Mason-White Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and also on Tuesday morning from 9;30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. She will be taken from the funeral home to the church by the Washington Fire Department. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Memorial contributions for Torrie may be directed to the Baylee & Sawyer Reynolds Education Fund, ℅ Heartland Bank and Trust.
