Todd E. Haycraft

Todd E. Haycraft, 51, of Washburn, IL, passed away at 8:02 am on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.  He was born on March 23, 1970, in Peoria, IL, to J.T. and Sharon Fay (Harvey) Haycraft.  He married Rebecca J. Finnegan on July 4, 2011 in Lowpoint, IL.

Surviving are his wife, Becky of Washburn; children, Isaac Haycraft of Florida and Dustin Haycraft of Washburn; and siblings, J.T. (Connie) Haycraft, Jr. of Muscatine, IA, Natalie (Dan) Force of Metamora, Bill Haycraft of Lacon, Nathan Haycraft of Lowpoint, and Jeromy (Christy) Haycraft of Washburn.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Brian Haycraft, and sister Tina Turner.

Todd was an avid fisherman and really enjoyed doing woodworking.  Todd worked as a concrete finisher for Lahoods, Szentes Concrete, Preferred Concrete and owned Old School Concrete with his brothers Jeromy and Nathan for a total of 25 years before he was forced to retire due to his health. Todd fought a long hard battle the last four years. There were many times the doctors could not believe he was still alive. Todd was one of the most stubborn people you could meet and because of that he made it thru a lot of things that others would not have. But God said it was time for him to go and we all know he is up there fishing with his brother Brian and no longer in pain.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Illinois Kidney Disease, 5401 North Knoxville Avenue, Suite 300, Peoria, IL 61614.  Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
