Theresa I. Urban

Theresa I. Urban, 81, of Spring Bay, IL passed away at 5:24 am on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. She was born on August 22, 1936 in Richwoods, MO to Leo and Josie (Yarbough) Rulo. She married Donald R. Urban on September 18, 1953 in Jerseyville, IL. He passed away on March 18, 2002.

Surviving are her children Donald (Donna) Urban and Ronald Urban both of Spring Bay and Mark (Cindy) Urban of Metamora; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings George Rulo of St. Louis, MO, Bill (Mildred) Rulo of Woodriver, IL, Charles Rulo of St. Louis, MO, and Margie Rodrick of Sullivan, MO; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and one brother.

Theresa worked in the kitchen at the OSF Mother's House for 20 years, retiring in 1998.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Pastor Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay.
