Theresa Ellen Seckler

Theresa Ellen Seckler, 69, of East Peoria, IL, passed away at 10:11 pm on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at her residence.

She was born on June 14, 1952, in Peoria, IL, to Everett and Mildred (Donohue) Seckler.

Surviving are her sisters, Edna Marchand of Peoria, IL, Candance (Jack) Miller of Foley, Alabama, and Jean (Dave) Stivers of Washburn, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Lois, brothers Jack, Arnold, Steve, Dennis, Bruce, and Norman, and sister Mary Shawback.

Theresa had worked for TCRC (Tazewell County Resource Centers, Inc.). She enjoyed going to Highland School in Morton, IL. She loved country music with Elvis Presley being her favorite! She loved the color pink and especially loved her family and housemates.

Theresa's family would like to thank her TCRC family and OSF Hospice for all the love and care that was given to Theresa.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora.
