Terry Webster

Terry A. Webster, 65, of Metamora, passed away at 9:44 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015 at UnityPoint Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on August 15, 1949 in Peoria to Arnold and Mary (Cornwell) Webster. He married Kathy Danz on October 10, 1970 in East Peoria. Kathy survives. Also surviving are their three children Gary (Jill Goulden) Webster of Wyoming, IL, Rick (Mindy Driscoll) Webster of Metamora and Julie (Rick) McCann of East Peoria; one brother Larry Webster of East Peoria; one sister Pamela Webster Myers of Peoria; and nine very special loving grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Elvis Webster and two sisters Carol Miller and Linda Jo Harazmus. After finishing high school, Terry went into the U.S. Army for two years and had been stationed in Korea. Following the Army, Terry went to work at Caterpillar, working most of that time in Mossville in the Engine Department. He retired in 2010 after 36 years with Caterpillar. Terry loved retirement life for the past five years. He especially enjoyed the time spent with family, doing woodworking projects for family members and playing the guitar. A service to celebrate Terry?s life will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with his son Gary Webster officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday starting at 4:00 p.m. until time of service. Cremation rites will be accorded.
