Teresa "Teri" S. Ford

Teresa S. "Teri" (Waterworth) Ford, 51, of Metamora, IL passed away at 5:55 pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Snyder Village in Metamora.  She was born on October 20, 1966 in Havana, IL to Kenneth and Doris A. (Waldschmidt) Waterworth.  She married Daniel A. Ford on September 9, 1989 in Metamora.

Surviving are her husband Dan of Metamora; sons Austin (Ashley Bartlow) Ford of Metamora and Eric (Jenni Held) of Roanoke; grandson Krue and with another grandchild coming later this year; mother Doris Waterworth of Metamora; father and step-mother Ken (Barb) Waterworth of Albertville, Alabama; siblings Rebecca (Jeff) Ziegel of Metamora, Lisa (Jack) Brecklin of East Peoria, Julie (Jim) Fandel of Metamora, Mark (LeaAnn) Waterworth of Fort Worth, Texas, Michael (Tammy) Waterworth of Metamora, and Lynnett Waterworth of Metamora; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by nephew Tyler Ziegel.

Teri worked at the Family Fountain for several years, starting when she was in high school. She then was a stay-at-home mom until her children were old enough to attend school.  She then took a position at Jonah's Seafood House were she worked for eighteen years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Metamora, where she also attended grade school. She attended Metamora Township High School, and then Illinois Central College. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed all kinds of movies and music, and was a member of the Old Settler's Committee for several years. Teri was a Mother, Grandmother, and most of all the Best Darn Wife you could have. You will be missed greatly. Fly high baby!

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Gary Salm officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Metamora.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Brooke Army Medical Center Fisher House, 3623 George C.
