Tammy J. Kennell

Tammy J. Kennell, 40, of Washburn, IL, passed away surrounded by her family at 5:12 pm on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on March 25, 1981, in Peoria, IL, to Carl "Pete" and Kathy (Ulrich) Kennell.

Surviving are her parents of Washburn; brothers, Matthew (Jeanette) Kennell of Benson and Jason (Cassie) Kennell of Roanoke; and nieces and nephews, Trevor, Shawn, Cody, Kari, Jordan, Blake, Ashton, Kylar, Callie, and Kamryn Kennell. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, six uncles, and special cousin Danny Kennell.

Tammy was employed at Choice books. She loved interacting with people and sharing the love of Jesus with those around her! She loved spending time with her family; and especially treasured the relationship she had with each of her nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Linn Mennonite Church in Roanoke with Steve Ulrich officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the church. Burial will be in Stewart Harmony Cemetery in rural Metamora. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Linn Mennonite Christian School, 1594 County Road 1700 N, Roanoke, IL 61561 or to OSF Sisters Charity, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637.
