Taky L. Vedder

Taky L. Vedder, 42, of Germantown Hills, formerly of Tremont, passed away at 4:12pm, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Unity Point Health Methodist-Peoria after a long battle fighting cancer. Taky was born, April 1, 1975 in Pekin, IL, daughter of Bill and Roni Lewis. She married Charles V. Vedder on May 24, 1997 in Tremont, IL. Surviving are her husband, Chuck and their two children, Taryn and Caden all of Germantown Hills. Also surviving are her mother, Roni Lewis of Burleson, TX; one brother, Damian Seward; her maternal grandmother Tommie Bale of Mansfield, TX; along with her paternal grandparents, Harold and Linda Lewis of Pekin. Taky was preceded in death by her father and her maternal grandfather. She was a 1993 graduate of Tremont High School. Taky worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 18 years last working as an analyst. She enjoyed many things in life including crafts and flowers, but best known as a devoted mother to her children. Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at Mason-White Funeral in Washington.
