Sue Bond

WASHINGTON?Susan P. "Sue" Bond, 55, Washington, passed away at 2:46 p.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Sue was born on December 21, 1957 in Peoria to Alfred and Patricia (Walters) Dunham. She married Michael Bond in Washington, and just recently celebrated their 36th anniversary, being married on September 3, 1977. Mike survives. Also surviving is her father, of East Peoria; their two daughters, Allison (Tim) Hall of Denver, Colorado and Brooke (Keith ) Troisi of Washington and one sister, Margaret McCollough of Florida. Sue was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Fran. Sue had worked for UPS in East Peoria for more than 30 years. She was a graduate of Washington Community High School in the Class of 1975. Sue loved spending time with her family and friends, especially on their deck at home. She also enjoyed her flower garden and shopping for antiques. Sue was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be missed by all. A service to celebrate Sue?s life will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Rust officiating. Visitation for Sue will be on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials for Sue may be directed to the Susan Komen Foundation
