Steven Lee Warner, 58, of Spring Bay, IL passed away at 4:15 pm on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. He was born on June 11, 1957 in Fond du Lac, WI to Wesley Wayne and Diane May (Wirtz) Warner. Surviving are his significant other of 24 years, Jackie Newell; children Chad (Jennae) Warner of Virginia Beach, VA and Cami Warner of Chillicothe; mother Diane Warner of DePere, WI; step-daughter Jamie Newell of Peoria; grandchildren Ryan Marx, Stephanie Marx, Joey Marx, Blake Torrey, Gavin Warner, and Peyton Warner; nephew Heath (Beth) Warner of Sterling, IL whom he was extremely close to; brothers Alan Warner of West Allis, WI, Gary (Denise) Warner of Sterling, IL, and David (Sheila) Warner of Oregon, IL; sisters Jeanie (Brian) House of Morrison, IL, Diana (David) Sino of Ft. Madison, IA, Linda (Bill) House of Rock Falls, IL, and Karen (Rick) Binkowsky of DePere, WI; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents, and maternal grandparents. Steven graduated from Sterling High School. He had worked for 23 years as an installer for Peoria Siding. He was an accomplished wood worker. He loved golfing and scuba diving. He was a sports fan, especially the Green Bay Packers. He was a beach bum and loved his pets. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 7:00 pm with visitation from 4:00 pm until service time at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Pastor Gary Salm officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in his name. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
